  • Eitan Nahum - Chairman of the Board
    Eitan Nahum is actively involved as an investor and serves on the board of several international, medical and IT companies. Mr. Nahum served as VP Strategic Planning and Business Development of U.S. Surgical Corporation, a $1.4 billion medical company, where he led investments of over $700 million in mergers and acquisitions, expanding it into new market segments such as cardiology, cardiovascular, spinal surgery and electrocautery. Formerly, he was a co-founder and CEO of Radiancy Inc. and President and CEO of Bogen Communication International Inc., which he made public. Mr. Nahum also served as the President of Sharplan Lasers Inc., which he successfully turned around to become a market leader in the laser aesthetic market. Prior to that, he held various executive positions at Laser Industries. Mr. Nahum holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc.  in Management and Industrial Engineering, focused on Business Entrepreneurship, from the from the Technion Institute in Haifa.

  • Dr. Uri Geiger
    Dr. Uri Geiger is Chairman and Founder of Accelmed, a leading medical device investment firm. Until 2009, he served as the founder of Exalenz Bioscience Ltd. (TASE:EXEN). Dr. Geiger is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully founded and sold three companies: Kirabo Inc. (sold to a Diamond Explorer), GalayOr Inc. (sold to MEMSCAP S.A.- Euronext: MEMS) and Tau Hedge Funds Management (partially sold to Migdal Capital Markets). Dr. Geiger has been involved in multiple investments in Israeli innovative medtech companies such as X-Technologies (acquired by Guidant), VisionSense, Medson (acquired by Imadent), and others.  Dr. Geiger serves as an adjunct professor at Tel Aviv Recanati Business School, where he lectures on private equity and venture capital in the International Program. He is the author of the books "Startup Companies and Venture Capital" (Tel Aviv University Press, 2001) and "From Concept to Wall Street" (Financial Times - Prentice Hall, 2003).

  • Gad Appelbaum - Independent Director 
    Gad Appelbaum has a diverse career in business extends, during which time he has served in various financial roles, as both CFO, CEO.  Mr. Appelbaum is the chairman of Discount Underwriting and IPO Company, and director of Discount Capital Markets Ltd., and was a member of the boards of Ortal, Bank Carmel, H.L. Leasing, Piryon, and other traded companies on the TASE.  Mr. Appelbaum is the major shareholder and chairman of private investment companies in the fields of investment banking, industry and services.   Mr. Appelbaum holds a B.A. in Economics and M.A. in Public Administration from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

  • Menachen Inbar
    Menachem Inbar has spent most of his career as a senior executive with the banking industry in Israel and abroad.  Since January 2009, he has served as the head of the Arkin Holdings Family office.  From 2000-2009, Mr. Inbar was the Managing partner of Shifman Inbar Ltd., a boutique investment firm. Currently he is serving as a director on the boards of Bezeq Ltd., the Israeli Telecommunications company and its subsidiaries, PAGI Bank – a subsidiary of Benleumi banking Group and several other Medical Device Companies.  Mr. Inbar holds a M.A. in Law from Bar Ilan University, Israel.

  • Michal Even- Chen - Independent Director  
    Michal Even-Chen is an independent professional offering strategic consultancy and business development services to companies and investors.  Mrs. Even-Chen has served over the years in top management positions in the leading Israeli communication companies, such as VP Marketing at 012 Golden Lines and VP Business Development  at Bezeq.  She has vast experience as a board member, having served on advisory boards of VC funds and on Boards of Directors of private, government-owned and public companies. Mrs. Even-Chen also serves as a member of the Board of Vocaltec and as a member of the Investment Committee of the Jewish Agency Pension Fund.  Michal holds a B.A. in Economics and International Relations and MA in International Relations from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

  • Dr. Amir Guttman
    Dr. Amir Guttman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aviv Venture Capital.  In addition to his involvement with MCS, he is an active board member of Bitband Inc. and FriCSo Ltd.   Formerly, Dr. Guttman was a member of the board of Given Imaging (NASDAQ:GIVN), Tambour (TASE), Maxima (TASE), Tradanet Electronic Commerce (a JV with GE Information Services), Mondex Israel, Pilot, SDL and the Incubator for Entrepreneurship at the Weizmann Institute of Science.  Dr. Guttman is a member of the faculty of The Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University.  He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University.

  • Hezi Nissan
    Hezi Nissan is the Founder and Managing Director of Nissan Medical Industries Ltd., a leading company in the  manufacturing industry of high quality, innovative surgical dressing products from gauze and non-woven fabrics.  Nissan Medical is a public company that is traded over the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.  In addition, Hezi serves as Chairman of the Board for a subsidiary company of NR Sputnech Industry Ltd., developers, manufacturers and suppliers of spunlace hydroentangled fabric products.
